After work, we went to services at one of the members of our Havurah's home, which was pretty nice, though I didn't enunciate all that well due to pain (of the tongue).

Once we'd finished there, we headed to froghugger's going away party in Burbank. She looks healthy; I gave her her accumulated mail, and forestcats gave her some freshly canned pumpkin butter.

On the way home, as we drove on I-210, we could see the brushfires to the north of the Rose Bowl. Frightening!
