While we were walking on Mills St., near ASU campus and our hotel, we saw bats flying around. It's not something that I see all that often, but there they were, and forestcats, as well as Natalie and her daughter saw them.
But in an urban area, I don't find it all that strange to see bats.
However, when we made a rest stop along I-10, deep in the desert, suddenly, here's bats flying around and around again! Where did they hang for daylight hours? I haven't a clue, but there they were, and forestcats and I watched them zip by, diving and weaving. Very cool.
